As part of Anchor’s mission, our products are designed to engage communities, and to improve as well as strengthen collective well-being through indoor nature.

Our current product is an innovative off-grid organic indoor biome as part of City of Brampton’s Backyard Garden Program in partnership with Brampton Fire & Emergency Services and Nature Harmony Foundation. After experimenting and learning how nature grows organic food with natural inputs, we replicated that process through our indoor food biome, the “Food Shed”.

The Food Shed features an organic aquaculture module, organic aquaponic vegetables, an engineered wetland, fish food cultivation module, an auto-harvesting vermicomposting bin, organic soil-based vegetables, automatic lighting and watering, and natural hydroponic vegetables. Special characteristics such as using three different growing methods allow crops to have variety for higher yield and cultural inclusiveness, the engineered wetland which allows for biofiltering and microbes cultivation, and the vermicomposting bin which ensures zero waste helps to create an optimal indoor food regeneration environment.
