Living Building Design and Certification Management

Living Building Design is predicated on seven performance criteria: Place, Water, Energy,
Materials, Health & Happiness, Equity, and Beauty. Projects must meet up to 20
requirements to achieve full Living Building certification.

Anchor Corp offers certification management services to make the certification process
straightforward every step of the way. After the first step of registration, Anchor will
assist the project team in determining project details such as typology and transect
information – Typology discusses the scope of the project, such as a renovation, landscape,
and infrastructure, building, or community.  Transect distinguishes the geography or
region of the project, such as a natural habitat preserve, rural project, or urban zone.
Upon completion of construction, Anchor will work with the third-party auditor to
perform a review of the documentation and conduct a site visit to collect information for
the final project report.
